Lazy Days

Eyes open slowly

And quickly shut tight

Sunlight too strong to take

Blissful darkness takes over

Snuggled in warm duvet

But the day beckons

Nagging, insistent vamp

Cajoling from slumber

Enticing from dreams

Wakefulness drifts in

Aided by shrill alarm
